ASU Police reported the following incidents Tuesday:

  • A 19-year-old male ASU student was arrested early Sunday morning at the Hassayampa Phase One residence hall on the Tempe campus on suspicion of disorderly conduct, police reported.

    The man was arrested, cited and released on suspicion of being under 21 with alcohol in the body and for reportedly getting into a verbal and physical argument with three other people, according to a police report.

  • An unknown person or persons committed criminal damage on Friday between 2:30 and 10:30 a.m. at the Hassayampa residence hall on the Tempe campus, police reported.

    The suspect unlawfully discharged two fire extinguishers underneath the victim’s entry door, according to a police report.

    The powder residue from the fire extinguishers coated the interior of the room as well as all the items in the room, police reported.

    There is no total estimate of the damage, according to a report.

  • An unknown person or persons burglarized the third floor of the Payne Education Hall on Thursday, police reported.

    The suspect(s) broke the main glass doors to several office suites and entered into the offices, according to a police report.

    It is unknown what time the incident occurred or if any items were taken from the building, police reported.

    The cost of the damage is estimated to be $1,000, according to a report.

Tempe Police reported the following incidents Tuesday:

  • A 24-year-old Tempe man was arrested Tuesday morning at East Apache Boulevard and South College Avenue on suspicion of disorderly conduct, police reported.

    Investigation revealed he was driving his car eastbound on University Drive when he got into an argument with four passengers of another car, according to a police report.

    While yelling at the occupants, the man was reportedly displaying a silver handgun out of his window, police reported.

    While displaying the weapon, the man taunted the victims by yelling, “Say something!” according to a report.

    The victims stated they feared for their safety, police reported.

    The man was charged with one count of disorderly conduct, according to a report.

  • A 21-year-old Tempe man was arrested late Monday night on suspicion of aggravated assault, police reported.

    The man reportedly got into a verbal argument with another man, which led to grabbing an aluminum baseball bat and hitting the other man, according to a police report.

    The victim was hit on the top of his head, across his left arm and across his left leg, police reported.

    The hits caused bruising and swelling and a 3-inch laceration to the top of his head, according to a report.

    The man also punched his ex-girlfriend with a closed fist just below her right eye, police reported.

    The man who was hit with the bat refused medical treatment but later requested to be taken to the hospital, according to a report.

    The suspect was transported to Tempe City Jail on one count of aggravated assault and two counts of domestic violence assault, police reported.
