ASU Police reported the following incidents Thursday:

  • An 18-year-old man was arrested Tuesday on the 1200 block of South McAllister Avenue on suspicion of being under 21 with alcohol in the body, police reported.

    The man is suspected of committing a burglary on Nov. 24, where he unlawfully entered a residence and used a hammer to break a combination lock attached to a dresser to steal an iPod, according to a police report.

    The total estimated loss is $200, police reported.

  • An Oro Valley man was arrested early Saturday morning on the 1100 block of South Rural Road on suspicion of public urination, police reported.

    The man was also arrested on one count of being under 21 with alcohol in the body, according to a police report.

Tempe Police reported the following incidents Thursday:

  • A 31-year-old Phoenix man was arrested Monday at South 52nd Street and West Rio Salado Parkway on suspicion of possession of dangerous drugs, police reported.

    The man was contacted after he was involved in an accident after driving over a raised median and was found to have a suspended driver’s license, according to a police report.

    A search found a small plastic bag in his pocket containing a white crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine, police reported.

    Police also found a clear glass pipe, as well as a pill marked as “Kadian,” containing morphine in the center console of the vehicle, according to a report.

    He was transported to Tempe City Jail on one count of possession of narcotic drugs, one count of possession of dangerous drugs, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of driving on a suspended license, police reported.

    A 26-year-old Guadalupe man was arrested at East Calle Sonora and Calle Moctezuma on suspicion of vehicle burglary, police reported.

    The man was observed opening the driver’s side door of a vehicle that was confirmed to be stolen, according to a police report.

    Police also observed the man trying to discard a glass pipe often used to smoke illegal drugs, police reported.

    The man said he discarded the stolen property underneath an unknown bridge, according to a report.

    He was transported to Tempe City Jail on one count of theft of a means of transportation, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of third-degree vehicle burglary, police reported.

  • A 31-year-old Phoenix man was arrested Sunday for an outstanding Maricopa County Superior Court Office warrant, police reported.

    The man was originally contacted during a disturbance call, where he was banging on his ex-girlfriend’s apartment door, according to a police report.

    He was warned of trespassing and transported to Tempe City Jail, where he was held to see a judge for the outstanding warrant, police reported.
