ASU police reported the following incidents Monday:

  • An unknown person or persons stole an ASU parking pass off of a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle Thursday on the Polytechnic campus, according to a police report.

    The owner of the motorcycle reported the incident to the department, police reported.

  • An unknown person or persons stole a mountain bike from the Student Recreation Center on the Tempe campus between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Thursday, according to a police report.

    The estimated loss of property is $350, police reported.

  • An unknown person or persons stole a backpack and other contents from the third floor of the Fletcher Library on the West campus Thursday, according to a police report.

    There are no suspects, leads or witnesses, police reported.

    The estimated loss of property is $200, according to a report.

  • An unknown person or persons removed jewelry from a chair in the Faculty Administration Building Thursday at the West campus, according to a report.

    The four items removed were valued at $290, police reported.

  • An unknown person or persons stole a secured bike from a bike rack outside Dixie Gammage Hall on the Tempe campus Thursday between 6 and 8 p.m., according to a police report.

    The estimated value of the property was $150, police reported.

Tempe police reported the following incident Monday:

  • A 32-year-old Arizona man was arrested at 1200 N. Priest Drive on Feb. 16 on suspicion of aggravated assault, according to a police report.

    An investigation revealed the man threatened a male acquaintance as he held a 10- to 12-inch kitchen knife to his face, police reported.

    The male acquaintance was reportedly cut in the face and neck by the man, fought the man off and then ran away, according to the report.

    The injuries of the male acquaintance were not life threatening, police reported.

    The man admitted to cutting the male acquaintance and was charged with one count of aggravated assault, according to the report.
