Tempe Police reported the following incidents Sunday:
- A 20-year-old Tempe man and a 19-year-old Tempe woman were arrested on suspicion of forgery near South Price Road and East Granada Drive after allegedly stealing four credit cards on Thursday, police reported.

The pair reportedly used one credit card to purchase food from McDonalds and then attempted to use all four cards at a Walmart to buy a 52-inch TV and an iPod. All four credit cards were denied, according to a police report.
The couple was identified by surveillance camera and released pending charges, police reported.
- A 31-year-old Tempe man was arrested in his home on the 5000 block of South Hardy Drive on Thursday on suspicion of resisting arrest, police reported.

The man had a valid misdemeanor warrant, according to a police report.
Officers were attempting to arrest the man when he refused to allow police to handcuff him and broke away from their grasp, police reported.
- A 25-year-old Phoenix man was arrested Wednesday after a Tempe police officer witnessed the man and two other people stealing beer from a Circle K, according to police reports.

The officer approached the man when he got into his vehicle with the stolen beer. Upon further inspection, the officer realized the vehicle had been reported stolen, according to a report.
The man stated the car was not his and he had borrowed it from a friend who was staying in his house, police reported.
Police contacted the friend, who said he had not given the man permission to use the car, but had given him 24 hours to return it before reporting it stolen, police reported.
While searching the car, the officer found a crack pipe on the passenger seat floorboard where the man had been sitting, according to a police report.
The man admitted to selling cocaine in the past and police found he had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear for driving on a suspended license, police reported.
The man was booked into Tempe City Jail and held to see a judge, according to a report.
- A 38-year-old Tempe man was arrested Tuesday on the 500 block of South Mango Street on suspicion of forgery, police reported.
Investigation revealed the man had stolen, forged and cashed 18 checks from an unknown victim, according to a police report.
The man admitted to forging the checks because he had recently been laid off and needed to make his mortgage payment, police reported.
He was transported to Tempe City Jail, booked and released pending charges, according to a report.
