Tempe police reported the following incidents Sunday:
- A 22-year-old Phoenix man was arrested during a traffic stop Wednesday on suspicion of possession of marijuana, according to a police report.

The vehicle was originally stopped for multiple traffic violations, including unsafe lane changes, a cracked windshield and failure to drive in a single lane, police reported.
Marijuana fell out of the vehicle when the man exited, and marijuana was located in the man’s mouth, according to a report.
The man was transported to Tempe City Jail, booked and released pending the charges, police reported.
- A 39-year-old California woman was arrested Thursday on suspicion of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, according to a police report.

An officer responded to the woman’s place of residence in Tempe to take a theft report, police reported.
A marijuana pipe and half a marijuana cigarette were seen inside the residence, according to a report.
The woman said the pipe and cigarette were hers, police reported.
The woman was charged with one count of possession of marijuana and one count of drug paraphernalia, according to a report.
She was taken to Tempe City Jail, booked and released pending charges, police reported.
- A 43-year-old man who refused to give police his place of birth was arrested at South College Avenue and East University Drive Wednesday on suspicion of assault, according to a police report.

The man was observed provoking another person into a fight, and eventually began kicking and punching the other person, police reported.
The man appeared to be high on drugs and was combative throughout the investigation, according to a report.
The man was transported to Tempe City Jail, booked and held to see a judge, police reported.
- A 27-year-old New Mexico man was arrested for two outstanding warrants Wednesday at Mesa Community College, according to a police report.

Marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found in the man’s backpack after a search was conducted, police reported.
The man was charged with one count of possession of marijuana and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a report.
The man was released pending the charges, police reported.
