ASU senior Braxton Marquez and junior Phillip Francis qualified as amateurs for the Waste Management Phoenix Open, which will be played at the TPC Scottsdale Championship Course.
Francis shot a 5-under 67, while Marquez shot a 4-under 68 during the qualifying round.
The two current ASU golfers will join six Sun Devil alumni in the Phoenix Open.
Former ASU golfers Phil Mickelson, Billy Mayfair, Chez Reavie, Pat Perez, Matt Jones, and Jeff Quinney will be participating as well.
