ASU sophomore Michelle Brycki has been named the Pac-10 Women’s Tennis Player of the Week for the week of April 12-18.
Brycki, a native of Sydney, Australia, defeated UA’s Debora Castany 6-2, 6-2 in singles and teamed with freshman Hannah James to defeat the Wildcats pairing of Sarah Landsman and Jane Huh 8-2 in doubles in the Sun Devils 5-2 victory over UA.
Brycki’s singles victory gave her a perfect 14-0 dual match record on the year.
Brycki and the Sun Devils will head to Ojai, Calif. for the Pac-10 Championships, which will be played from April 22-25.
