His collegiate accomplishments range from two national championships, more than 9,000 career passing yards, 145 touchdowns and a Heisman Trophy.

However, former Florida quarterback Tim Tebow’s future in the NFL is anything but certain. Scouts, general managers and coaches continue to doubt the former Gators star.

If I’m a general manager in the league, I draft Tim Tebow. Tebow’s character, athleticism and work ethic are all second to none.

Tebow’s future employer will never have to worry about him pulling a Plaxico Burress and shooting himself in the leg, or hear of Tebow receiving sexual assault charges like Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. He is a solid leader on and off the gridiron.

Critics claim Tebow can’t throw the football, yet the future NFL quarterback has spent the offseason improving his game, and working tirelessly to revamp his throwing mechanics. Tebow can beat defenses with his legs and his canon of an arm. The effort and desire to succeed at the next level is there.

Tebow did nothing but win during his time at the University of Florida. He brought two national championships to Gator Nation and capped off his collegiate career with a thrashing of Cincinnati in the Sugar Bowl.

This guy knows how to win football games and that success can translate to the NFL.

I applaud the Broncos for drafting Tebow. They will not be disappointed.
