Two ASU alumni on Masters leaderboard


After the first day of the Masters, two former Sun Devils are on the leaderboard.

Phil Mickelson is tied for second after the first day after shooting a 5-under 67. Mickelson had four birdies and an eagle, while shooting par on 12 holes and bogeying one hole. After finishing 1-under on the first nine holes, Mickelson finished strong by shooting a 4-under 32 on his last nine holes.

Paul Casey is tied for 63rd after shooting a 3-over 75. He finished the first round with five birdies, eight pars, three bogeys, a double-bogey and a triple-bogey.
