Stolen driver's license linked to Kyleigh Sousa case

A stolen driver’s license seems to be a new lead in the killing of ASU student Kyleigh Sousa.

According to Tempe Police, an Arizona license linked to the 21-year-old’s death was found June 20 in a Phoenix mailbox. Sousa was killed May 26 after being dragged by a car when a robber snatched her purse.

Police believe the suspect stole the license from a male friend of Sousa's, and it was later placed inside a U.S. Postal Service mailbox sometime between May 26 and June 20.

Authorities are asking anyone with information regarding the license to contact the Tempe Police Department at 480-350-8311 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
