Tempe Police reported the following incidents Wednesday:

  • A Phoenix man was arrested Monday evening on suspicion of false reporting to police and possession of narcotics on the corner of Scottsdale Road and Weber Drive, police reported.The man gave police a false name after contacting him, according to a report.Upon searching the man, police found a useable amount of methamphetamine and a pipe, according to police.
  • ASU Police reported the following incidents Wednesday:

  • An unknown person or persons stole an ASU computer, monitor and hard drive from an office in the Goldwater Institute on East Tyler Mall, according to police.Police believe the theft took place between Aug. 11 at 5 p.m. and Aug. 20 at 3:30 p.m., according to a report.
  • A woman was cited on suspicion of assaulting a juvenile on Aug. 14 at the Polytechnic campus, according to police.The incident occurred on the basketball courts on Vermont Drive and Amulet Street at 8 p.m., according to police.
  • An unknown person or persons stole a bicycle from the Mona Plummer Aquatic Center on College Avenue, according to police.The theft occurred between Aug. 20 and Aug. 23, and police estimate the loss at $320, according to a report.Police have no suspects or leads at this time, according to a report.
