The end of October is approaching, and with it comes an exciting time.
Temperatures are cooling off, midterms have been completed and women are contemplating how to turn a respectable profession into a scantly clad costume.
It’s a good time of year … except in the sports world.
Way too many sports are going on at the same time.
By the end of October, MLB will be several games into the World Series, the NHL season will be entering its second month, the NBA will have just begun, college football will be finishing up its ninth week and the NFL will be enjoying its week eight games on Halloween.
It’s the “perfect storm” for those “perfect storm” cliché enthusiasts.
Unfortunately this means there are too many television options on any given day.
Do I watch the Suns? The Cardinals? The possibly soon-to-depart Coyotes?
But that leaves out ASU football, and my Denver Broncos, and the end of what felt like an extremely long baseball season.
It’s much too confusing.
My DVR space is quickly diminishing and my homework is starting to envelop the right side of the couch.
Suns, Broncos, Suns, PTI, Cardinals, flip channel, flip channel, flip channel.
Forget it I’m just going back to Scrubs reruns.
