Pac-10 men’s basketball TV schedule released


Pac-10 Commissioner Larry Scott announced the 2010-2011 Pac-10 men’s basketball television schedule Tuesday, including eight nationally televised games for ASU.

ASU’s eight national games will appear on Fox Sports Net. Fox Sports Arizona will now select certain ASU games for local broadcast.

In all, 59 men’s conference games will be televised.

Fifty-one of the games will be shown nationally by FSN, five will be shown nationally on CBS and three will be shown nationally on ESPN or ESPN2.

ASU’s first televised game will be on Jan. 8 against California.

Both of ASU’s regular season games against UA will be televised nationally, one on Jan. 15 and the other on Feb. 13.

The Pacific Life Pac-10 Tournament, played at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, will also be televised by FSN.

The conference championship game will be shown on CBS.

ASU is also slated to appear on ESPN2 Dec. 2 against Baylor as part of the Big 12/Pac-10 Hardwood Series.
