The Arizona Cardinals are a mess.

The quarterback position is so vital to success in the NFL and the Cardinals have a disaster under center right now.

Derek Anderson is a below-average talent that should not be a starter for an NFL franchise.

What other options do the Cardinals have?

Max Hall is not the answer either.  How many rookie quarterbacks have success right off the bat, even first round picks?  Hall went undrafted for a reason.

If Hall wasn’t a local product, there wouldn’t be nearly as much support for him from the fans.

To boot, there is discontent in the locker room.  Beanie Wells is frustrated.

He had five carries on Sunday and said that he had no clue what they were thinking upstairs.

A bad quarterback and discontent in the locker room is not good.

Now, the Cardinals are still in first place.  Mostly because the NFC West is terrible and the best quarterback in the division could be a rookie.

A 7-9 record could win the division.  Sadly, the Cardinals are on their way to falling way short of that.

Anybody have Kurt Warner’s number on speed dial? Stop voting for him on Dancing with the Stars and maybe he’ll come back.
