Believe it or not, the Oakland Raiders have won four of their last five games and are tied for first place in the AFC West while the San Francisco 49ers have won two in a row and are slowly climbing back in the NFC West race.

The San Francisco Giants won the World Series and the Oakland Athletics' had their first .500 season in four years.

The Bay Area, which had not seen a sports team in the playoffs since the 2007 Golden State Warriors, is on the rise and ready to become a prominent sports region once again.

The Giants’ pitching staff, the Athletics' young talent, and the revival of the two storied football teams should have Bay Area fans drooling at the thought of a bright and successful future.

The recent success and promising future is something the Bay Area deserves, as it is an area that possesses two of the best fan bases in professional sports.

Oakland Raiders fans and San Francisco Giants fans are undoubtedly some of the most dedicated and passionate fans in their respective sports.

The Bay Area, which already has a lot to offer tourists, will soon be an ideal place for a sports fan’s vacation.
