The Arizona Cardinals just became the Buffalo Bills’ biggest fans.

With the Cardinal’s 36-18 home loss to Seattle last weekend, Arizona is basically three games out of first place and fading fast.

Of course, in the dismal NFC West there is still a chance the Cardinals could come back to make a run at the division, but even that might be a poor decision in the long run.

Arizona needs a quarterback, and it needs one bad.

The franchise will never get back to where Kurt Warner took it without finding a suitable replacement.

And that’s why the Cardinals want the Bills to win.

Buffalo is likely the only team worse than Arizona to select a quarterback in next spring’s NFL draft.

The top prize will be Stanford redshirt sophomore Andrew Luck, assuming he forgoes his remaining eligibility and enters the draft.

In case you didn’t see him Saturday in Tempe, ‘wow’ is probably the best superlative to describe his abilities.

Taking a quick look at the two teams’ remaining schedules, Buffalo faces more opponents with winning records than Arizona.

But don’t sleep on the Bills. Despite only winning one game thus far, the team has been competitive in almost every one of its games.

Let the race to the cellar begin.
