Police Beat: Nov. 16


ASU Police reported the following incidents Monday:

  • An unknown person or persons committed theft between 3 p.m. Nov. 4. and 10 a.m. Nov. 9, police reported.The unknown person or persons stole a bike from the north side of the parking structure located near East Tyler Street and South McAllister Avenue in Tempe.The estimated cost of the bicycle is $100, according to a police report.
  • On Nov. 9 between 1 a.m. and 8:30 p.m., an unknown person or persons committed theft by removing the seat, wheel and handlebars of a bike, police reported.An unknown person or persons later stole the remaining bike parts near Vista Del Sol located near Apache Boulevard and McAllister Avenue in Tempe, according to a police report.The estimated loss was $120, according to a report.
  • An unknown person or persons stole a woman’s purse from the lower level of the Hayden Library on Nov. 11 around 1 p.m. on ASU’s Tempe campus, police reported.The estimated loss of the items is $160, according to the report.There are no leads or suspects at this time, according to the report.
