Police Beat: Nov. 17


ASU Police reported the following incidents Tuesday:

  • A 47-year-old woman was arrested around 12:30 a.m. Sunday on suspicion of loitering, police reported.The woman was arrested outside the Memorial Union on ASU’s Tempe campus, according to a police report.The woman was previously warned for loitering and trespassing on ASU property on Oct. 30, and was also arrested for trespassing inside the Memorial Union on Nov. 8, police reported.The woman was cited and booked into the 4th Avenue Jail, according to a report.
  • Two male students, ages 19 and 20, were arrested around 2 a.m.  Friday on suspicion of being minors in consumption of alcohol, police reported.Police located the men near South Rural Road and East Spence Avenue in Tempe, according to a police report.The 19-year-old man was cited and released from the ASU Police Station, and the 20-year-old man was booked into the 4th Avenue Jail, police reported.
  • An unknown person or persons committed burglary between 3 and 10:45 p.m. Thursday, police reported.A window of a vehicle belonging to a 19-year-old female student was broken inside the Rural Road parking structure on ASU’s Tempe campus, and her vehicle was entered, according to a police report.The estimated loss is $500, police reported.There are no suspects, leads or witnesses, according to a report.
  • An unknown person or persons committed theft between Thursday and Saturday, police reported.Two soap dispensers and a toilet paper roll were taken from the first-floor men’s bathroom at the Computing Commons on ASU’s Tempe campus, according to a police report.The estimated loss is $70, police reported.There are no suspects, leads or witnesses, according to a report.
  • An unknown person or persons committed criminal damage between Nov. 5 and Nov. 8, police reported.A window on the second floor of the Discovery Hall on ASU’s Tempe campus was broken, according to a police report.The estimated loss is $500, police reported.There are no suspects, leads or witnesses, according to a report.
