Women’s basketball hosts exhibition Friday

The ASU women’s basketball team will wrap up its preparations for the new season with an exhibition game against Fort Lewis College on Sunday at Wells Fargo Arena.

The Sun Devils are welcoming back several players from injury, including redshirt senior guard Dymond Simon, who missed all of last season with a knee injury.

ASU is looking to put all the pieces together after finishing last season 18-14.

Last year Fort Lewis made it all the way to the NCAA Division II national championship game before losing to Emporia State.

It was the most successful women’s basketball season in Skyhawks history.
