This postseason the NFL isn’t exactly putting its best foot forward.
Well, at least not by my standards. Three of the four remaining teams just rub me the wrong way.
From head to toe, the Jets represent all that is wrong with athletes today. They are arrogant, self-centered and loud-mouthed.
The Steelers are led by Ben Roethlisberger, a guy I wouldn’t touch with a ten-foot pole. Not to mention I still haven’t gotten over the Super Bowl of two seasons ago.
The Bears just don’t seem worthy to me. Beating a 7-9 team to advance to the NFC Championship game isn’t exactly the toughest of roads to walk down. Plus, with Jay Cutler, Chicago always has at least one foot in the grave.
And then there’s the Packers. Oh yes, the wholesome Packers.
No smack talking, no nightclub bathroom incidents, no crybabies, just professional and likeable football players.
Here’s to Green Bay getting off on the right foot, being good little foot soldiers and planting their feet on the winner’s podium in Dallas.
All right, I’m done ranting. I’ll just put my foot in my mouth.
