Non-Required Reading: Super Bowl Brings First Look of Captain America

So while watching the Super Bowl with my drunk friends, I found myself completely uninterested in the game.

Long story short: I’m the kind of guy that loves me some football. I’m the kind of guy that hates me some Steelers and Packers.  It’s like watching a round of monster trucks. Someone is declared a victor, but no one really wins.

Anyway, as we were watching, I began noticing something about the commercials. They actually had a lot of commercials for comic-related movies. This includes the premiere of the first Captain America trailer.

Now this is worth noting for about three reasons.  First is the picture to the left. We get our first appearance of the “Red Skull," the main Nazi bad guy. How badass does that look? Very.

Next is the appearance of tiny pre-Super Soldier Steve Rogers. They’re clearly using some kind of super-imposed body to go with Chris Evans' face, but seriously, that picture of a teeny-weeny Evans is pretty hilarious.

The third part is Tommy Lee Jones. Hell yeah Tommy Lee Jones is in this movie!  He can end every movie with a soliloquy about his dream and no closure, and hot damn I will watch it.

In a 30-second commercial we don’t learn much. But it is a teaser and it is a sample of what’s to come. Just wait until summer folks, it’s going to be sweet as hell.
