ASU Police reported the following incidents Thursday:

  • An unknown person or persons committed criminal damage in the men’s first floor bathroom of the Commuting Commons building on ASU’s Tempe campus at approximately 10 a.m. Feb. 8, police reported.The total estimated damage is $20, according to a police report.
  • An ASU Parking and Transit employee accidentally broke the driver’s door handle off a vehicle parked in Lot 59 on the Tempe campus between 10 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Feb. 4, according to a police report.
  • An unknown person or persons committed theft by stealing a bike from the backyard of a residence at the 5800 block of South Terripin Drive near the Polytechnic campus between 5 p.m. on Feb. 7 and 4 p.m. Feb. 8, police reported.The estimated loss is $100, according to a police report.
Tempe Police reported the following incidents Thursday:
  • A 22-year-old Tempe man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia at approximately 3:45 p.m. Feb. 8, police reported.An investigation revealed that he destroyed a bedroom door during an argument with his girlfriend, according to a police report.The man admitted to the damage post-Miranda, police reported.

    A search of the apartment revealed a usable quantity of marijuana and a water bong with burned marijuana residue, according to a police report.

    The man was booked and held at Tempe City Jail, police reported.
