Tempe Police reported the following incidents Monday:

  • An 18-year-old Florida man was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and possession of a fictitious license on the 500 block of East University Drive in Tempe at approximately 12:17 a.m. on Feb. 10, police reported.The man was contacted in reference to the smell of marijuana coming from his apartment, according to a police report.The man admitted to being in possession of marijuana and handed the officer a fake shaving cream bottle that contained marijuana, police reported.

    A search of the man revealed he was in possession of a fake Florida driver’s license that he admitted to paying $100 for, according to a police report.

    He was booked in Tempe City Jail and released, police reported.

  • A 28-year-old Gilbert man was arrested on suspicion of possession of narcotics, possession of prescription drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia on the 100 block of East Don Carlos Avenue in Tempe at approximately 1:52 p.m. on Feb. 10, police reported.After an investigation during consensual contact, it was revealed that the man was in possession of three oxycodone pills, four carbamazepine pills, and a dollar bill, book and credit card that had been used to ingest illegal drugs, according to a police report.The man was booked and released, police reported.
  • A 24-year-old Phoenix man was arrested on suspicion of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at the intersection of University and River drives in Tempe at approximately 1:43 a.m. on Feb. 11, police reported.An investigation of his vehicle revealed a clear plastic bag containing marijuana, a glass pipe with marijuana residue and a bag with several carisopropol pills, according to a police report.The man was booked and released, police reported.

    An 18-year-old California man was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana at the 500 block of East University Drive in Tempe at approximately 12:17 a.m. on Feb. 10, police reported.

    The man was contacted after officers smelled an odor of marijuana coming out of his room, according to a police report.

    When asked, the man admitted to being in possession of marijuana and pulled out a marijuana cigarette from his shirt pocket, police reported.

    He was booked and released, according to a police report.
