Tempe Police reported the following incidents Tuesday:

  • A 26-year-old Phoenix man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and disorderly conduct at the intersection of Third Street and Mill Avenue in Tempe at approximately 1:10 a.m. Saturday, according to a police report.The man was contacted after he broke a window at Rula Bula, police reported.The man had been asked to leave 10 minutes prior for over-intoxication, according to a report.He then proceeded to walk to the west side of the building and kick the window, causing it to shatter, police reported.

    Rula Bula is a historic building from the 1800s and the window was an original window, according to a report.

    The total estimated damage is $2,000, police reported.

    The man was arrested and booked, according to a report.

  • A 19-year-old California man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault, aggravated assault serious injury and being a minor in consumption of alcohol at the 1000 block of East Lemon Street in Tempe at approximately 9:06 p.m. Thursday, according to a police report.Several witnesses observed the man punching and kicking another man who lay motionless on the ground, police reported.When an officer pulled up, he observed the man standing over the victim with his hands, feet and clothing covered in blood, according to a report.

    The victim was transported to Scottsdale Osborn Hospital, where he was treated for extreme facial and head trauma, police reported.

    The suspect was transported to Tempe City Jail, according to a report.

  • A 25-year-old California woman was arrested on suspicion of third-degree burglary and shoplifting at the intersection of Mill Avenue and University Drive in Tempe at approximately 10:10 p.m. Thursday, according to a police report.An investigation revealed that the woman went behind the counter at the CVS and stole 17 packs of cigarettes, police reported.The woman also stole a polo shirt, cookie dough ice cream, lip balm, candles, three lighters, eyeliner and a Red Bull energy drink, according to a report.The total estimated loss is $146.29, police reported.
  • A 51-year-old Tempe woman was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia on the 1900 block of East Hayden Lane in Tempe at approximately 6:19 p.m. Sunday, according to a police report.The woman was contacted after two of her neighbors reported her continuously pounding on their door for approximately 10 minutes on six different occasions that day, police reported.Once detained, the woman produced a small plastic bag of a clear crystal substance from her left pocket and told police it was drugs, according to a report.

    The woman was booked and held to see a judge, police reported.
