I feel bad for Steve Nash.
Nash has been with the Phoenix Suns for years, and for years the Suns have failed to provide him with the NBA Championship ring he deserves. He's a two-time MVP who has been running the team since he returned.
As a lifelong Suns fan, I can admit that the Suns always seem to struggle when it matters the most.
Playoff time is quickly approaching. With only a few games left, there is still uncertainty about whether the Suns will make it to the playoffs.
The Suns (32-29) are currently sitting at ninth place in the conference.
They are one spot short of being in the playoffs, and anything can happen in the next few weeks. That could work in their favor, or they could totally mess it up.
Each game is vital to the Suns’ playoff hopes. Utah (33-30) and Houston (32-32) could easily move past Phoenix to take the No. 8 spot.
If the Suns want a championship before Nash leaves or retires, they'll need to make the rest of this season count.
Make it count for Nash, and for all of us fans who stick with you even when you let us down.
