For those of you with smart phones, there is a new Tiger Woods golf application.

The “Tiger Woods: My Swing” app was released on March 23.

For $9.99 any golfer can improve their game by having their swing assessed through video analysis. The app allows users to videotape their swings and compare them to Woods' swing.

The most interesting thing about the app is that it also promises to provide exclusive member-only updates from Tiger and his life on tour. These personal updates will likely be the main reason people purchase the app.

In fact if they get lucky, Tiger may even provide special insights on how to pick up women and get divorced.

Although Woods, now ranked No. 5, was dethroned from the No. 1 spot in golf rankings he is still the No. 1 golfer people are talking about.

Woods has remained as popular as ever, and it’s not because of his performance on the golf course.

Last week Apple listed Woods’ app as the “App of the Week.”

While the price of the app is high compared to similar others, I'm betting that it's going to be a top seller for both golfers and non-golfers alike.
