Only 22 years old, Derrick Rose has what it takes to be the NBA’s youngest MVP.

The point guard led the Chicago Bulls to a 103-90 win over the New York Knicks on Tuesday night. Rose contributed 26 points to the win, with 13 of them coming during a seven-minute stretch. Rose also had three assists and two steals.

After that performance it seems like Rose is a deserving choice for MVP.

Rose puts on great performances in every game. He is impactful and averages 25 points per game.

And Rose isn’t just another superstar. He embodies the very definition of the MVP. He chases down loose balls, coordinates plays and can be both a shooting and point guard.

He put the Bulls back on everyone’s radar.  Did anyone know what Chicago was doing before Rose showed up? The last time the Bulls had this much promise they featured the classic NBA great, Michael Jordan.

Under Rose’s leadership the Bulls cinched the No. 1 spot in the Eastern Conference this year with a record of 61-20.

In my opinion, if Rose keeps playing in the postseason the way he’s played all year, it is quite possible the Bulls will cinch a championship too.
