ASU Police reported the following incidents Tuesday:

  • ASU Police are looking for a 20-year-old man in order to arrest him on suspicion of stalking and threatening or intimidating at Vista del Sol on ASU’s Tempe campus at approximately 3:30 p.m. April 5, according to a police report.The man sent several threatening text messages to a 20-year-old female student, causing her to feel fear for her life, police reported.

    Attempts to contact the man have so far been unsuccessful, according to the report.

    Follow-up will be conducted at the patrol level, police reported.

  • An unknown person or persons committed burglary at the 700 block of East Apache Boulevard between approximately 10:30 p.m. April 4 and 6:30 p.m. April 5, according to a police report.The person or persons smashed the passenger-side window of a vehicle parked at the Vista Del Sol Parking Structure and stole property from inside the vehicle, police reported.

    The total estimated loss is $1,270, according to the report.

    There are no suspects, leads or witnesses at this time, police reported.

  • A 22-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assault and disorderly conduct at West Hall on the Tempe campus at approximately 1:30 p.m. March 31, according to a police report.The woman knocked down a 21-year-old female student from behind and held her down on the ground by her neck, police reported.

    The 22-year-old was transported to Fourth Avenue Jail, where she was booked, according to the report.

  • A 21-year-old male student was arrested on suspicion of racing and driving with a suspended license at the intersection of Broadway and Rural roads in Tempe at approximately 11:35 p.m. Wednesday, according to a police report.The man was racing another vehicle on a highway with a suspended license in the area of Vista Del Cerro Drive and Rural Road in Tempe, police reported.

    The student was also the subject of an outstanding ASU Police Department warrant, according to the report.

    He was transported to Fourth Avenue Jail and booked, police reported.

  • An unknown person or persons committed theft at the Business Administration C-Wing building on the Tempe campus between approximately 8:45 a.m. and 9 a.m. March 29, according to a police report.The person or persons stole a cell phone left in the first floor women’s restroom, police reported.

    The total estimated loss is $500, according to the report.
