ASU Police reported the following incidents Wednesday:
- An unknown person or persons committed theft at the Business Administration C Wing building on ASU’s Tempe campus at approximately 11:40 a.m. Monday, according to a police report.The person or persons stole a 19-year-old’s skateboard from a classroom in the building during a power outage, police reported.
There are no witnesses, suspects or leads at this time, according to the report.
- An unknown person or persons committed criminal damage at the 300 block of Apache Boulevard in Tempe between 3 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Saturday, according to a police report.The person or persons damaged the gas tank lid on an ASU Police vehicle while it was used for patrol on the Tempe campus, police reported.
The total estimated damage is $500, according to the report.
- An unknown person or persons committed assault at Vista del Sol on the Tempe campus at approximately 1:55 a.m. Sunday, according to a police report.The person or persons punched a 25-year-old man in the face, causing it to swell, police reported.
There are no suspects at this time, according to the report.
- A 68-year-old ASU Grounds employee committed simple assault at the 1500 block of South Rural Road at approximately 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, according to a police report.The man threw his set of work keys on his 52-year-old female supervisor’s desk, causing them to strike her hand, police reported.
The woman suffered no injury. However, she is seeking an administrative solution, according to the report.
- An unknown male was observed leaving his suitcase unattended near the east side of the Physical Sciences H Wing on the Tempe campus at approximately 2:55 p.m. Sunday, according to a police report.The suitcase was found to have miscellaneous bike tools and bolt cutters inside, police reported.
The owner could not be located and the suitcase was confiscated by ASU Police, according to the report.
