ASU Police reported the following incidents Sunday:

  • An unknown person or persons committed theft at Palo Verde East on ASU’s Tempe campus between approximately 5 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. April 14, according to a police report.

    The person or persons stole a key ring from a cabinet lock in the UPS store at that location, police reported.

    The total estimated loss is $25, according to the report.

  • An 18-year-old male student was arrested on suspicion of being an underage person with alcohol in his body at Hassayampa Academic Village on the Tempe campus at approximately 7:46 p.m. April 16, according to a police report.

    The man was given a citation and released at the scene, police reported.

  • An unknown person or persons committed a hit and run at Lot 72 near South Rural Road and East Spence Avenue on the Tempe campus between approximately 1:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on April 18, according to a police report.

    The total estimated loss is $3,000, police reported.

    There are no suspects at this time, according to the report.

  • An unknown person or persons committed theft at Adelphi Commons on the Tempe campus between approximately midnight and 12:10 a.m. on April 18, according to a police report.

    The person or persons stole a laptop from an unsecured dorm room in the building, police reported.

    The total estimated loss is $1,200, according to the report.

  • An unknown person or persons committed burglary at the 2000 block of East Rio Salado Parkway between 8 a.m. April 2 and 8:05 a.m. April 16, according to a police report.

    The person or persons stole about 100 feet of copper wiring and damaged an A/C unit belonging to ASU Salvage, police reported.

    The total estimated loss is $1,500, according to the report.

    There are no suspects, leads or witnesses at this time, police reported.

  • An unknown person or persons committed theft at Hayden Library on the Tempe campus between 1 p.m. and 11 p.m. April 17, according to a police report.

    The person or persons stole a bike from the bike rack outside the library, police reported.

    The total estimated loss is $500, according to the report.

    There are no witnesses, leads or suspects at this time, police reported.
