ASU designated hitter Joey DeMichele was named both the Pac-10 and the Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week on Monday.

The sophomore hit three home runs Sunday against then-No. 25 Stanford.

It was the 10th time a Sun Devil accomplished the feat.

DeMichele went 7-for-15 against the Cardinal with eight RBIs.

It was his first career Pac-10 player of the week honor and ASU’s 99th award all-time.
