Four years after the Giants ended the Patriot’s undefeated season, the teams will meet again Sunday, Feb. 5 at Super Bowl XLVI.

The matchup will be more intense than the first time as both Eli Manning and Tom Brady are playing at elite levels.

It’s no secret this game will be a battle between New York’s defense and New England’s offense. The Patriots are counting on quarterback Brady to run the show, and the Giants are preparing to do whatever it takes to stop him.

“The way to kill a snake is to take off its head. The way to kill an offense as potent as that … is to take care of Brady,” Giants defensive end Justin Tuck said in a radio interview with Boston’s WEEI.

Clearly, New York’s game plan is to take down New England’s quarterback.

The Giants’ defense has been impressive throughout the playoffs, and their pass rush is going to set the tone for the Super Bowl. As long as they maintain a solid defensive line, there’s no doubt the NFC champions will reign victorious again.
