Nine baseball players receive Pac-12 recognition


Nine ASU baseball players received Pac-12 Conference recognition. Four ASU players were named first team All-Pac-12 and five were honorable mentions.

Sophomore right-hander Trevor Williams, juniors second baseman Joey DeMichele, shortstop Deven Marrero and pitcher Brady Rodgers were named to the All-Pac-12 First Team.

Senior first baseman Abe Ruiz, sophomore outfielder James McDonald and juniors outfielder Andrew Aplin, pitcher Jake Barrett and catcher Max Rossiter were honorable mentions.

ASU’s nine total selections were the most of any school in the conference, while UA and UCLA each had seven players honored.

The Sun Devils finished the season tied for third in the Pac-12 standings and won 30 games for the 50th straight season.
