Toucherception. The Immaculate Interception. Fail Mary.

Whatever the final play between the Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers will be called for eternity, it was an embarrassment.

“13th man beat us tonight,” Packers tight end Tom Crabtree tweeted. And it’s the only quotable tweet without profanity.

What happened on Monday was bound to happen when reports say the replacement officials were fired Pac-12 and, get this, Lingerie Football League officials.

It’s not even their fault. All fingers should point at NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

When are you going to act like, well, what’s the word I’m looking for — a commissioner?

Gather up the owners and come to a resolution. It’s embarrassing to watch a professional football game.

If you thought Golden Tate’s reaction after he was asked if he pushed off on the final play was bad, Jerry Jones was even worse. He was on a Dallas radio station trying to sell this broken product.

Mr. Goodell, who always wants to be in the spotlight, is nowhere to be found. He isn’t a good commissioner. He needs to wake up and help bring the officials back before the players and fans draw the line.
