Letter: Sinema makes education a priority

In response to Hunter Moss’ Oct. 30 letter to the editor, “Kyrsten Sinema mocks ASU students.”

How dare anyone criticize Kyrsten Sinema's stance on ASU's academic credentials.  She teaches here and earned her master’s, doctorate and juris doctorate at ASU.

Kyrsten has promised to make education a priority, while her opponent, Vernon Parker, has pledged to eliminate the Department of Education.  Any type of attack on Ms. Sinema's credentials as a teacher and professor is absolute "malarkey," to borrow a phrase.

In the video that Hunter Moss used as credentials in his skewed letter, Ms. Sinema was obviously joking, as she has before.  If a potential voter and ASU student wants to discover the true motive behind these comments, they should meet the candidate and see that her sense of humor was behind this all along.

Although our school system leaves something to be desired in the students it churns out, the candidate to make things better for Arizona students is obviously Kyrsten Sinema, not the hatchet man that wants to cut billions from schools.
