Not since Tim Tebow has a player caused so much stir and commotion throughout the college football world.
Whether that factor is a good thing or bad thing moving forward, one thing is certain: Johnny Manziel will have a remarkable college career.
Becoming the first freshman to win the coveted Heisman, “Johnny Football” put together a highlight reel in Texas A&M’s first season in the SEC.
I don’t know if that’s what makes his season more remarkable and euphemistically emphasized, or if he would have been considered still if the Aggies were in the Big 12.
Regardless of the conference affiliation, Manziel led Texas A&M to its highest ranking in the AP poll by the end of the season since 1994, as well as the school’s first Heisman Trophy in over 55 years.
Not to mention the school received a commit from one of the nation’s top wide receivers in the country this week for Manziel to connect with.
The future looks bright for Manziel and Texas A&M football — for a few years at least.
