Carrick Felix named Pac-12 Men's Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year


LAS VEGAS — ASU senior wing Carrick Felix has been named the Pac-12 Men's Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year, the conference announced Wednesday.

Felix is on his way to complete his Masters of Liberal Studies and will graduate in the spring with a 3.50 GPA, according to the press release. He graduated with his B.S. in communications last spring. One Scholar-Athlete of the Year awarded is distributed in each of the 22 Pac-12 sponsored sports.

Felix averaged 14.2 points and 8.2 rebounds in the regular season. He won Pac-12 Player of the Week honors three times this season was named onto the All-Pac-12 Second Team and the Pac-12 All-Defensive Team.
