CULVER CITY, Calif. — Prior to the start of Pac-12 Football Media Day, the Pac-12 released its 2013 media poll Friday.
Twenty-five voters picked Oregon as the favorite to win the North division and the Pac-12 Championship Game, beating projected Pac-12 South winner UCLA.
The media voted ASU second in the Pac-12 South and fourth overall in the conference. ASU was projected to finish fourth in the Pac-12 South (ninth overall) last season but had three votes to win both the division and the championship game.
The preseason media poll has correctly picked the conference champion 28 of 52 times. The media also picked Oregon to win the Pac-12 title in three out of the last four years.
