Bravo to the ASU football team for getting its first road win on Halloween in convincing fashion. Redshirt junior quarterback Taylor Kelly totaled 7 touchdowns (5 passing, 2 rushing) in a 55-21 win over WSU. This is the first time since 2007 that No. 23 ASU is in the AP top 25 so far into the football season.

Boo to the barrage of slut-shaming comments on social media and news articles about at least two females who attended Halloween parties in the nude. While a birthday suit isn't most people's choice of a costume (and it's illegal to be naked in public), neither of these women should have been so casually called "naked bitch" by ASU Confessions, nor received such hate.

Bravo to this week's return of college basketball. Sun Devil star redshirt sophomore point guard Jahii Carson and his NBA-bound skills will give the Sun Devils their best chance to make the NCAA tournament since the James Harden days.

Boo to the Phoenix New Times blog Valley Fever for running an extremely insensitive article on Adrienne Salinas, the Tempe woman who was discovered dead in August after she'd been missing since June. The article, titled "Adrienne Salinas' Entire Body Wasn't Found" was full of sensationalism and provided nothing of useful importance to readers. A critical standard of journalism ethics is minimizing harm, which requires reporters and publications to weigh the benefit of telling a story with the potential it has to hurt those involved, but that guideline doesn't appear to have been present in this decision.

Bravo to the arrival of holiday drinks at Starbucks. It may be a little early to start getting into the holiday spirit, but we'll let it slide as long as we can have our favorite, the Peppermint Mocha.

Boo to individuals having their non-employer health insurance plans cancelled after President Barack Obama repeatedly assured voters that they would be able to keep their health insurance plans if they wished. According to NBC News, "Between 7 million and 11 million of the 14 million Americans with individual coverage will receive cancellation letters because the plans don't meet new minimum benefit standards set by the Affordable Care Act."

Bravo to CNN and the entire crew of the documentary "Blackfish" for releasing it for free on CNN.com. The film covers the issues of keeping killer whales in captivity at SeaWorld.

Boo to the shooting death of TSA agent Gerardo Hernandez at the Los Angeles International Airport on Nov. 1 after Paul Ciancia allegedly went on a shooting spree, injuring two more TSA officers and a passenger. CNN reports Ciancia is unresponsive.

Bravo to the new Arcade Fire album “Reflektor.” The album, which was released Oct. 28, was produced by James Murphy, LCD Soundystem’s former frontman, and has so far garnered the Canadian band very positive reviews.

Boo to the death of author Gérard de Villiers, who died this weekend at the age of 83. His series of espionage thrillers, "Son Altesse Sérénissime," was one of the longest-running fiction series of all time.

Boo-ravo to the new Twitter update that shows photo previews directly on users’ feeds. The updated interface makes the social media site much more visual and could drive commerce as advertisers no longer have to rely on clicks for people to see an ad. Unfortunately, it does not restrict graphic or inappropriate images from showing on feeds and as of now can only be turned off on the mobile app.

Correction: Because of an editing error, the boo regarding slut shaming directed at women who attended Halloween parties in the nude incorrectly identified the women as ASU students. It is unconfirmed whether or not the women were affiliated with the University.
