Devil Dish: 10-point spread is child's play for Oregon

It's been almost one year since the last time the Oregon Ducks played a game they didn't win by at least 18 points.

Nov. 17, 2012, the Stanford Cardinal defeated the Ducks 17-14 in Autzen Stadium. Nov. 7, 2013, the Cardinal will attempt to repeat history.

Since their last loss, the Ducks have outscored each of their opponents by at least 18 points, and by a total average of 31.1 points. The run stretches 10 games — 10 wins — including a three-score victory last season over then-No. 5 Kansas State in the Fiesta Bowl.

Despite the departure of Chip Kelly, the Ducks are more dominant than ever this season. Maybe it's offensive-coordinator-turned-head-coach Mark Helfrich, or maybe it's that for the first time in the Ducks' dynasty, they have an NFL-caliber, Heisman-favorite quarterback on offense and the best secondary in college football on defense.

That's far from all of the Ducks' weapons, but Marcus Mariota and Ifo Ekpre-Olomu highlight the reasons why Oregon can chalk up another three-touchdown margin of victory and start packing their bags for Pasadena.
