Sports at ASU, like every other collegiate organization, have their ups and downs. A solid year for basketball here, a not-so-good one for football there. But there’s one sport you might not have completely caught up with: Quidditch. Inspired by the J.K. Rowling “Harry Potter” series, the Quidditch club first formed in fall of 2009, and takes the wizard-inspired sport to new heights – and they’re pretty darn good at it, making it to the World Cup, the championships of the sport, in 2011. Growing over the years from a few members to about 40, the team spirit is palpable.
