After dropping the Territorial Cup game on the road in Tucson, ASU football slid down to a spot it hasn't occupied in the AP rankings since Week 8: No. 17.

No. 15 Georgia and No. 16 UCLA suffered the largest drops in this week's poll, each falling seven spots this week after both teams lost their final games of the regular season.

The SEC was the best represented Power Five conference, with seven teams. The Pac-12 was directly behind with five, while the ACC, Big Ten, and Big 12 each had four teams.

The lone non-major conference present this week was No. 23 Boise State of the Mountain West.

UA rose to No. 8, its highest AP ranking this season and second time inside the top 10.

AP Top 10:

1. Alabama (25 first-place votes)

2. Florida State (29)

3. Oregon (5)

4. TCU

5. Baylor

6. Ohio State

7. Michigan State

8. Arizona

9. Kansas State

10. Mississippi State
