ASU's Downtown campus does not compare to the size of Tempe campus, but the personalities there are amazingly bright.
Angela Marie Siebrecht: "I chose ASU because I got a really good scholarship and ASU has always been in my heart. I really like going to Tempe, my friends from high school are in Tempe, so it's nice to hang out."
"Advice I really believe in is that it's OK to not know what you want to do. I didn't know what I wanted to do, but it's OK. Also it's a big university so get involved and find yourself a group."
Christian Hernandez: "To be honest, coming to ASU was a last-minute decision. However, I have not regretted it since coming here."
"I switched majors from exercise and wellness to history with a focus in European studies. I think I would start out teaching in high school then see as where my profession would take my along in European studies. I would try and go into some parts of Germany. Netherlands or Switzerland would be my ideal location because profession wise, it is one of the top tier positions to hold and I've always wanted to be living in that kind of environment."
Kara Robertson: "I am studying nutrition with a focus in dietetics. Dietetics allows me to work in a medical setting. Instead of just being a nutritionist I can work in hospitals and people like with eating disorders. I started off with working on a biology major but last semester I decided I will do nursing, so I took a nursing class and it was dealing with nutrition and then I knew nutrition was what I wanted to do."
"I was thinking of working in an intensive care victims, with people such as those like burn victims. I only worked in a dental office; it was good, but that's when I decided I want to do the medical side without medical school."
Alex Duffy: "My major is exercise and wellness because sports have always been something I've been interested. I'm from Penn State college but now I am here because I have just always wanted to come to ASU."
"Eventually I would hope to be the strength coach for Penn State University football."
Haley Sedgwick: "Life is about having the confidence and freedom to be who you want and doing only what you choose, that's what I've experienced her in my life at ASU."
"I am studying to be a nurse. I've had a series of events to where I've spent a lot of time in hospitals, it's weird. Like last year I got pneumonia out of no where. Nurses are awesome and that's why I feel like health care is home for me."
ASU is full of an array of wonderful personalities. Downtown students were no exception to this.
