5. Shaq McKissic, glass-cleaning machine: One of his six rebounds, this miss by Gerry Blakes was scooped up by McKissic and then fired right back to Blakes in the corner to give ASU a 5-4 lead. Blakes was 2-for-3 from behind the arc, and added 12 points in ASU's first conference win of the season.
4. The Curtain of Distraction strikes again: Wesley Gordon + rubber unicorns = a split trip to the line.
3. 6th man: The 942 Crew (not pictured) gave ASU an undeniable advantage in the second half, making each Colorado trip to the free throw line a little more difficult. (The Buffaloes shot 7-for-11 from the line in the second half) This time, Jaron Hopkins was the victim of another deliberate diversion at the hands of those crafty kids behind the curtain.
2. Shaq buries a go-ahead three: After trailing much of the first half, a defensive stand led to an impressive offensive sequence, including a touch pass from Jonathan Gilling back to McKissic that left him headed back down the court with a little extra swagger in his step. 1. Swipe, flip, jam: It wasn't even Shaq's favorite dunk of the night, (he had three) but the crowd couldn't get enough of this play, set up by a nifty steal from Bo Barnes at the other end.
