According to a report from CBS Sports, the ASU men's basketball team will face Creighton in a home-and-home series, beginning in 2015-16.
ASU will face Creighton on Dec. 2, and the Bluejays will go to Tempe sometime in 2016-17, per the report.
The Sun Devils' full season schedule has not yet been released, but ASU will appear as a host school in the 2015 Legends Classic at the Barclays Center from Nov. 23-24. NC State, LSU and Marquette are also there.
ASU is led by first-year coach Bobby Hurley, who took over for Herb Sendek after spending two seasons at Buffalo which included a 2015 NCAA Tournament appearance. ASU returns most of its core from last season, including starters Tra Holder, Gerry Blakes, Savon Goodman and Eric Jacobsen.
Creighton and ASU played in 2013-14, with the Bluejays winning 88-60 behind Doug McDermott's 27 points. Creighton went on to the NCAA Tournament that season (as did ASU) but both teams took a step back in 2014-15. The Bluejays went just 14-19 after a 27-win season the previous year.
Update (2:58 p.m.):
Additionally, ASU will face St. John's on Dec. 22 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas (where the Pac-12 Tournament is held).
St. John's went 21-12 in 2014-15 but D'Angelo Harrison (17.5 points), Sir'Dominic Pointer (13.7) and Phil Greene IV (13.0) exhausted eligibility.
