Hunter Kampmoyer decommits from ASU football

ASU football's first commitment from its 2016 recruiting class decommitted on Wednesday.

3-star athlete Hunter Kampmoyer originally pledged to ASU on Feb. 26, but has opened his recruitment back open just more than two months later.

Kampmoyer played tight end and defensive end at Bishop Union High School in California.

On defense, Kampmoyer had 109 tackles, 12 sacks, four forced fumbles and four passes defended in the 2014 season. On offense, he had 19 carries for 104 yards to go along with 21 catches for 462 yards.

ASU still has 3-star Peoria Centennial offensive lineman Marshal Nathe in its 2016 recruiting class.
