White hails from Canyon Country, California, and later played for College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, California. He had 55 catches for 667 yards and six touchdowns in 2014, in addition to returning 29 kicks for 812 yards (28.0 average), which included a touchdown. White will have two years of eligibility remaining.
White is also a track athlete, breaking the College of Canyons school record for long jump and also competes at triple jump.
ASU lost its top two receivers from last season with Jaelen Strong declaring for the NFL draft and Cameron Smith out for the season (unspecified knee injury).
ASU's leading returning receiver from 2014 is senior D.J. Foster, who is switching positions from running back. After missing out on a few big-name wide receiver recruits, three-star Terrell Chatman signed with the Sun Devils.
White's highlights are below.
Update (5:20 p.m.)
