ASU baseball gets commitment from 2018 prospect Jake Dukart

Dukart is the third baseball commitment for the recruiting class of 2018

ASU baseball landed its second commitment in as many days Thursday after 2018 prospect Dukart announced his intentions on Twitter.

The Sun Devils landed a commit from 2016 oufielder Myles Denton Wednesday, and now add a 6-foot-2, 165-pound pitcher and shortstop in Dukart.

The Lake Oswego High School (Lake Oswego, Ore.) product is the first commitment for the class of 2018. 

Dukart played just one game at the varsity level last season, going 1-for-4 according to MaxPreps.com. He bats left-handed, and throws/pitches right-handed.

The current high school sophomore also received interest from Oklahoma State, Oregon State, Texas A&M, Nebraska, Oregon and Washington, according to Perfect Game.
