ASU football lands commitment from 2017 defensive back Jermani Brown

ASU football's recruiting momentum keeps on moving.

The Sun Devils landed a commitment Wednesday from 4-star defensive back prospect Jermani Brown, marking the third commitment to the program in the last two weeks in joining local products Chase Lucas and N'Keal Harry.

The Calabasas High School (Calabasas, California) product chose ASU offer additional reported offers from Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, Idaho, Michigan State, Syracuse, Utah and Wisconsin. Brown is listed at 5-foot-11 and 175 pounds. 

He is the 14th-ranked cornerback in the country according to Rivals.com, and ASU's third commitment in the 2017 class alongside "Devilbacker" Loren Mondy and defensive back Alex Perry. Perry is the younger brother of current ASU sophomore safety Armand Perry.
