Polytechnic student found after being reported missing

ASU Police found a missing ASU student Thursday afternoon, the department reported.

According to the ASU Police Department Twitter account, the undergraduate student was found safe just before noon. 

Krissell-Espana Rivas was last seen at the Polytechnic campus on April 12 at 11:12 p.m and was found Thursday before noon, according to an ASU alert.

ASU PD spokesperson Nicole Franks said she cannot comment on the details of the investigation, but said the department will send out alerts to its various social media accounts in the event that a student goes missing. 

“Unfortunately, I can’t go into detail about this case," Franks said. "Our alert for the missing person goes to Twitter, Facebook and our website so we can get the word out ASAP.”
